The Carcraft green cars website is dedicated to educating car buyers about the green cars available.
With this microsite, we decided to come up with a different design idea. Our initial thoughts were to replace all aspects of blue with green to represent the eco friendliness of the website, but after a few initial tests we decided the colour scheme just didn't work.
So, we arrived with the idea of creating a simple "green" illustration that featured a natural healthy landscape, some cars and maybe some wind farms.
Although the website is fairly small, we spent a lot of time on the design (it's a regular thing at Dubbed) to get it looking just right.

We continued with the use of subtle colours of blue throughout the design, to maintain the Carcraft branding.
We introduced a subtle fade in on the vehicle images when the page loads to give the content some life.
We would have liked to animate the wind farm in the illustration but to keep the page loading time to a minimum we decided against it.
