We were commissioned to design a 200 page handbook for the Learn2 Group which was aimed at motivating disaffected learners.
This was a very large project which involved taking the basic literature provided by the Client in the form of Word documents and converting them into exciting materials.
The end result was a 200 page glossy finished spiral bound A5 handbook which also had accompanying A4 task cards which could be handed to students.
We were also asked to create a new logo for the handbook and a CD containing PDFs of all the materials.

The first step was to come up with a good looking page design that would remain consistent throughout the handbook. For this we chose a clean, easy to read font by the name of "FF Meta".
And with the tasks being aimed at outdoor activities, we decided to create a main playing field using a watercolour effect which we could work with on each core task card.
The largest part of the project was to illustrate over a hundred characters and objects which were all consistently styled and sized.
